Since 2019, her pioneering non-profit, With Red, has reached over a million people, fervently advancing menstrual justice and youth empowerment not only within Taiwan but also globally. To augment her advocacy for menstrual equity, Vivi later established the “Period Museum”, the world’s sole bricks-and-mortar museum of its kind. She also co-introduced the first-ever Asian university-level “menstruation” course at National Taiwan University along with the convening team, where she currently serves as a lecturer.

As a global youth icon, Vivi has been honoured with accolades including the Forbes 30 Under 30, Diana Legacy Award, Tatler Gen T and Youth of the Year Taiwan. Her remarkable contributions have also been spotlighted in renowned publications.

Determined to spread her message of period positivity, gender equality, human rights, and youth empowerment, Vivi frequently delivers keynote addresses. She has given 200+ speeches, and penned 300+ articles and blogs on the subjects, inspiring millions across the world.

Vivi’s academic background lies in global health, gender, and public policy. She obtained a BSc in Infectious Diseases from the University of Edinburgh (first class honour) and was the first Taiwanese to graduate from United World College Maastricht (the Netherlands). Vivi is now pursuing a master degree in Public Policy at the University of Oxford.
